Happy New Year!!!

So it's been a while since my last post and I do apologize.  Seems I've been busy with some work, holidays and such.  The wonderful world of murder beach just keeps trudging along.  Here are some pics from the past couple of months and also something to get your juices flowing for the new year!!!

Got a new old lens yesterday and tried it out around the house real quick.  Looking forward to seeing what it gives me.  Also, got some new little paintings coming along.  enjoy......

Brookgreen

Each spring I make a daytrip down to the Gardens.  Mostly to recharge my juices, as brookgreen has a profound effect on me.  With all the flowers blooming and the nice quiet walks through old rice fields and along the marsh.  This year was a little later than usual for me as I've had alot of gigs going on, which made the day kind of needful for me.  enjoy........

if you did not know, I also work at a local eatery from time to time and a guest last night posed this question to me as we were talking about my escapades in the water and how excited I was that a storm was in our region. not wishing any storm to make landfall but only produce some swell, he just did not understand how someone would paddle into rough water, a golfer, I had to ask him how he feels when hits that sweet spot and the ball just flys down the fairway and explain I get that same feeling riding a 6 foot glassy wall of a left hand swell!   hopefully we'll have some swell in our driving distance all week!

Today was Talking Heads day.  I listened to good ol'e Mr. Byrne and his cohorts for a while, got motivated to do some pics and even caught a really nice swell.  Water's getting cold though. 
I'm not sure if I'll be going out in the water anymore before spring, the old bones don't like the cold H2O!!  anyway.... enjoy....
