Lulu's Fun Paddle /race

Very doubtful this was ever gonna be a race but it was alot of fun for all at the boathouse here in Myrtle Beach.  Drew Brophy is here doing a mural for Lulu's Cafe who also own the Boathouse on the waterway.  He gave a informal talk about SUP's on different settings other than riding waves.  Like going down the Snake or Colorado rivers.  Got everyone amped up and the paddle began.  Ryan from Surf City Surf Shop actually won but everyone had a blast seeing parts of the waterway they usually don't get to.  enjoy.......

Irene coming along

So Irene seems to be heading more nor-east now and we're glad here in Myrtle.  Sorry 'bout your luck OBX and above north, know you don't need that kind of attention from mother nature!!  I went down to 64th just to shoot a little beach action before going to work tonight and there's a little swell starting to creep in.  The wind has let up some and switched more to side/off shore.  As you'll see there was more action on the sand than in the water. enjoy.......

Saturday in the park

Swell came in this morning and we had a blast!  Thigh to waist with an occasional low tummy size wave providing some fun.  My buddy Chad and I had it all to ourselves for about an hour before alot of peoples came out.  This is the reason for only a couple of shots.  Probably get it again tomorrow.  enjoy....

day trippers

We've had a little wave here for the past few days.  Me and da boys went scouring the coastline for fun little lines.  A collection of random shots from the scenes as always ensued.  Beginning at 64 and Sea Island in MB, then travelling north to OIB, and south to Pawleys.  Goofy schtuff from this crew as we wandered around the coastline.  As always keep smiling and the waves will come in!!! enjoy.....

Surf City dressing rooms and Earth Day Music Fest

The dressing rooms are finished here at Surf City MB.  Took a little longer than expected but working two jobs sometimes does that huh?  The Earth Day Music Fest is this weekend and should be a whole lotta fun!  Hopefully Mother Nature will let us celebrate with better than forecasted weather.  Come on out to the old Pavillion site in downtown Myrtle for some great music, lots of fun for the kids, and maybe buy some artwork.  20% of my sales will go to the Wellness Council!!  enjoy.......

getting the last wall done

I have been working on a couple of dressing room walls for Surf City surf shop this past week and with too much work at my B-fish I have had to stretch this project out a lot longer than what I had expected.  I'm getting near the end and should be all finished by Tuesday.  It'll be really cool when complete!! enjoy.......

and the wind went offshore

So this morning began with rain, then howling wind and nasty chopped up surf.  Around 1030 it switched to offshore and left us with a few little nuggets. enjoy.........
